Julia, thanks for your posting. There are a lot of Latinos starting high tech companies - but they're in México, Argentina, Costa Rica, Colombia, Miami. Some of my posts here on this blog show this pretty clearly. There are also organizaitons such as SHPE - the Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers, and they've traditionally been more oriented towards corporations and Latino engineers who are employed at these corporations, not entrepreneurs. What do we need to do to inspire Latinos in the States to start more tech companies?

I've been hunting for a year for some list that shows Latinos can start a high tech company. While most aren't high tech, it's a start.

We need to get Latinos to start more business where we can compete with the rest of the world. The USA's quality of life will decline if we let the rest of the world create and develop new businesses.

With the US being primarily latino by 2040, if things don't change, I'll standard of living will be similar to Mexico's.

We must get Latino's out of gangs. We must get them to complete high school. We must get them to learn English.

What a great lineup of superstars! Thanks for posting this Fernando. We need to make sure more people know about people who could choose to live and work anywhere in the world and make Austin the great place to live and work that it is.
